After
16 years of planning, Kineton finally opened the doors to
its own purpose built playgroup on September 4th

We
are delighted that our builders, Allworks, have been able to
complete the project early and on budget, to enable us to open
at the start of the school year.
This means we are able to offer more children more sessions at
playgroup, up from 24 children per session to 32 and from 7
sessions per week to 10.
We
will also be starting a Breakfast club and continuing our
popular After School Club for children at the primary school.

Thanks
to the generosity of local businesses and families, we have
been able to meet our fundraising targets and buy new
furniture and equipment for the children. We will also be
moving our existing equipment over from the Methodist Hall,
where we have been happily housed for many years.
We
appreciate all the help we have had during the summer holidays
with moving and getting things ready for the start of
term.
The
move to our own premises will make a huge difference for our staff, who will no
longer need to set up and pack away for each session, as well as for the
children who will enjoy the wonderful new facility, and even better links with
the primary school.
Our one remaining project is to complete the outdoor area, which for now has
just been re-seeded, but in the long term will have a more creative makeover.
We
extend a warm invitation to join us for our opening celebrations on Saturday 13th
October. More details to follow.
