PLAYGROUP ACHIEVES INVESTORS IN CHILDREN QUALITY ASSURANCE AWARD.
KINETON,
1st October, 2005 --- Celebrations for Kineton Playgroup are planned
this weekend following the achievement of the Investors in Children
Quality Assurance Award.
The
formal celebrations will take place at the Methodist Hall, home of
the Kineton Playgroup, during the Playgroup’s open day on Saturday
1st October between 2.30 and 4pm.
The
Investors in Children Quality Assurance Award is accredited by the
Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA).

September 2004. The Playgroup is one of only a small number of
childcare providers to complete the scheme’s requirements and
obtain this award.
Helen, Supervisor of Kineton Playgroup said: “We are delighted
to have achieved the Investors in Children award.
It is an independent testimony of the hard work, commitment
and professionalism of all the staff and committee at Playgroup.
We are proud of the children at the group who have helped us
achieve this award. And the children seem delighted too.
Their smiles were particularly noticeable when we mentioned
the celebratory cake.”
Helen
continued: “We would love to see anyone at our open day who is
interested in sending their child to Kineton Playgroup, who has been
at Playgroup in the past or is just interested to find out what we
do.
Everyone is welcome.”
Sue
Harris, the Assessor, from the PLA said: “All the children at
Kineton Playgroup are supported to reach their full potential and
staff are skilled at differentiating activities according to
individual needs. The staff
work exceptionally well as a team and are creative and
imaginative in planning for a wide range of activities to develop
all areas of the curriculum.”
