arrive. Hang coats on pegs in the entrance hall with their

greeted by a member of staff. Time for free play and talking until
everyone has arrived. |

talk about their news and the items they have brought in relating
to the topic of the week ( Please see our Topics

activity of the day. |

During the
last part of a playgroup session children are encouraged to
participate in physical activity, either inside or outside
according to the weather. We have a wide variety of equipment for
physical development - balls, basketball, beanbags, bats,
wheelbarrow, climbing apparatus, slides, pushchairs, tricycles,
bicycles and a playhouse. |
Playgroup
sessions do vary. We like to have visitors to help us discover more about
our topics and we also go out on visits within the village to help us
widen our interests in the big wide world. There are a number of events
throughout the year for all children at Playgroup - a Christmas Play,
Christmas Party, Summer Outing, Sports Day and taking part in the
Pre-Learning Alliance Playweek.
