Guidelines

PLEASE
READ THESE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY AS CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE FROM
PREVIOUS SALES.
The
organisation of the sale will be as follows:

Delivery of sale items, Seller’s
Agreement and payment of £1 for sellers pack into the
High School entrance hall only please. (No items will be
taken after
10.30am
). |

– 3.00pm

SALE |
| 5.00pm
– 5.30pm
|
Collection
of unsold goods. – It is your responsibility to check
the different areas around the hall for all items that may
not have been sold (i.e. equipment/toys/clothes). If the
items are not collected they will be disposed of. |
Money and pricing labels for items sold will be
forwarded to you within 7 days of the sale - You must attach
a stamped addressed envelope to your signed seller’s agreement
for this purpose and clearly mark who the cheque should be made
payable to.
ITEMS
FOR
SALE
·
Baby and children’s clothes
(including school and nursery uniforms) and maternity wear.
These should be in nearly new condition and must all be on
hangers. (Items do sell better if they are put on hangers for us
to display). These should be grouped according to size and age
where possible. These
should be delivered to the hall entrance with all boxes labelled
with your name and rep code (i.e. Letter and number).

Equipment i.e. highchairs, prams,
pushchairs, cots, safety gates etc. where possible should have
their instructions attached.
·
ONLY
booster seats can be entered into sale no other car seats permissible.
·
Toys, books, puzzles, children’s
DVD’s, videos and cassettes, must be in complete working order
with any loose pieces securely attached.
·
Good quality items only please,
i.e. ‘As New ‘ Clothes must be clean with no holes, stains, no
missing buttons or be very worn.
Unsuitable goods will not be put into the sale.
Toys, puzzles etc. must be complete and books in good
condition. We cannot
sell poor quality items even if they are priced low, or labelled
as faulty/incomplete.

There is a limit of 100 items per
seller.
·
There is a minimum price of 50p
and no 5p prices e.g. 75p, 85p etc.
·
NO ELECTRICAL ITEMS
·
Please ensure pricing labels are
completed in full, writing clearly your name and rep
code on every label – this will
help us to sort your items and pricing labels (for payment) at the
end of the sale.
·
Use masking tape or scotch tape to
attach labels to toys, books and equipment – NO STAPLES!
·
After the sale, any discrepancies
must be raised with your rep., within 7 days of the sale. No
queries can be considered after this period.
Please note that any items not thought to be in a
‘nearly new’ condition, labelled incorrectly or thought to be
dangerous will be removed from the
Sale
, at the discretion of the Playgroup Committee.
