How much does it
cost?
For
the year 2007/2008 fees are as above. However, your child may be
eligible for the Nursery Grant which should meet this cost in full (
see below) . Fees are reviewed every
September. All children must attend a minimum of 2 sessions per
week. Extra sessions
may be available according to our numbers.
In some cases we can arrange help with fees, if you require help
please do not hesitate to talk in confidence with the Chairperson or Fee
Collector. The leaving notice is half a term, otherwise you will forfeit
half a term’s worth of fees. The
Nursery Grant is non-refundable.
When and how do I
pay?
Fees
are due at the start of each half-term and may be paid weekly, monthly or
half-termly, in cash or by cheque made payable to Kineton Playgroup Ltd.
Weekly fees should be paid on the first session attended each week.
Monthly and half-term fees should be paid by the end of the first
week of term.
When and how do I
get Nursery Grant?
You
are eligible to apply for Nursery Grant from the beginning of the next
term after your child’s third birthday. You will be provided with the
relevant form for completion by Playgroup. The Nursery Grant currently
covers Playgroup fees completely, however as Government funding changes,
this may change.
Is there a Lunch
Club?
We
operate a picnic lunch facility on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from
11.45am – 12.45pm. Places
are limited and are only available to those children who staff feel are
able to cope with the extra hour and the discipline required during this
period. The charge to join the lunch club is £1, with this you will
receive an ice pack to use with your child’s lunch box along with some
basic guidelines on food safety. The charge is then £2.20 per session for
the year 2005/2006. This is reviewed each year in September.
Can I help with a
Playgroup Session?
Yes!
Each parent is expected to help in playgroup on a rotation basis at
least once a term. Your help
enables us to keep our fees lower than they would be if we had to employ
an additional member of staff. If you have any skills that you can share
with the children – please let us know. It’s also a great opportunity
to see how Playgroup works and how children learn through their pre-school
years.
We
often require parental help when we go out on trips within the village,
notices are placed on the board about forthcoming outings so if you are
able to help please sign up.
Can I help with
fundraising?
Regular
fundraising events are organised by the committee and cannot be operated
without the support of parents. Any
help that you can provide is appreciated and new ideas are always welcome.
